The new event should start fresh… everyone should have a chance to be the first repeating team. Not after the fact you create a format. Sharky

"That's it! Nothing else changes, and there is no special prize money or anything like that. It's basically just for bragging rights and to add some more fun and drama into our already good time!" This was part of the notification regarding the new event. No money awarded. No prizes. Just bragging rights. This tourney is still a handicapped DYP roto event which means that any team can win on any given Sunday. At least 13 teams yesterday (3 July, 2022)....none of whom had any issue whatsoever with making the new event retroactive for 1 week. Everyone does have a chance to be the first repeating team. First....you have to PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT. Kinda hard to win once, much less repeat, if you don't even bother to show up and play. Second....win with your partner. Third. Win again next week. Not really sure why this "Official Protest" was even posted.

Hey Sharky! Thanks for the insight!
Hey, we were also talking about starting up some other little competitions to make things fun and give our foosers some recognition, etc. I thought maybe you could give us some advice on one of them! It's called "Crybaby of the Week". Do you think we should start it next week or this week? Personally, I think we should start now, but perhaps that wouldn't be fair because then everyone wouldn't have a chance to be the first repeat whiner. What do you think?
