I don't know who you are, but your comment is valid in the hi-low tournament. Understand that the high ranking players are so competitive that it sometimes blinds the spirit of the hi-low tournament. I struggle with this myself, from the standpoint of how hard do I want to play, and win. Last Saturday I was paired with a young lady who's foosball skills are at the beginner level. In my competitive mode, I found myself moving from goalie to forward in between drops as the game progressed, and therefore trying my best to win. I mentioned this several times, that it may not be teaching the younger player much of the game, but it is a strategy that even two good players use from time to time based on the situation. I tried to be encouraging, and instructive on strategy, I also tried my best to make it a fun time. If the game isn't fun, then why play.
Most of the foosers are really good people, and very competitive. I hope that you will come play again, and keep trying to improve, getting a beat down can be very motivating to get better, and if you are like me, you'll use that anger you have to make a difference the next time, and try and beat the person your upset with.

Just for the record...StoneCold was not at the HI-LOW event that night, was my better half's birthday and I was at the casino losing money.
Sounds like this has been blown out of proportion. I don't know any Phx.players that treat their partner bad anymore, this may of gone on inthe distant past, but not over the last several years that I can recall.
Steve and TJ just love throw jabs at each other in fun, like Tim and I used to when the board was interesting.
Nick is a good partner to draw for any player, he does try and mentor his partners to make adjustments, etc. and doesn't ever treat them poorly that I can remember. If it is Nick your referring to, he knows when he comes that it's HI-LOW and expects to get the lowest ranked player. The sad thing for us is, that most of time, he can still win or place.
Steve come back out to play, we need your weak game, and weak jokes, ... love ya brother

Wanted to say thanks to all of the Tucson teams that came up, you have a great group of players. Also, it was great to see the players from New Mexico and Cali, nice that you came to play. John G. good to see you!
Billy and Mike S. props to you both for a great turnout, heard there were 19 teams. Thanks for running it, and keeping it moving.
Congrats to all of the league winners, I'm impressed with how good your all getting.
Dan R. thanks for asking me to play, we had a great time. (Other than me stepping on your feet from time to time) LOL.
